Advanced Studies / Postgraduate

The KUNSTGUT is proud to offer a new one-year program for Postgraduate Artists, starting in November 2017!
This program offers developed artists the opportunity to continue their studio work within the context of a tightly-bound artistic community in central Berlin!
Please note that this is not an official Masters diploma, but rather a supportive space in which to further develop and explore ideas.
·         Artists will receive a large working space (3m x 4m) in a walled-off part of the Kunstgut studio, specifically for focused postgraduate work.
·         Option to attend any, all, or none of the scheduled tutored lessons of the school. (Rotating program of painting, drawing and sculpture. Weekly Life Model.)
·         Optional daily contact and feedback from the rotating team of visiting artists.
·         Ongoing supportive relationship with Founder Frank Pieperhoff. Also available out of hours for advice over the phone!
·         Instantly become part of a local network of artists, with monthly debates and social events.
·         Artists may stage exhibitions within the Kunstgut space, for which the Kunstgut will provide marketing materials and postcards.
·         Artists may visit the Kunstgut countryside House (near Brandenburg) for occasional residential weeks of focused work in a rural environment.
We offer only 7 spaces for this new program.
Fine Art Degree or equivalent professional artistic experience both acceptable. International applications are welcome!.
