Progress and development/ further studies of artistic work
A well- formulated artistic utterance has to be based on something: it has to evolve from a basis.
The basis can be all of what a human being has encountered, though. In this way, everything can turn into art.
The art of art instruction is to develop individual working methods.
On the one hand, clearly formulated tasks are set. From these tasks first work cycles evolve. These show the first signs of an individual working method.
On the other hand, students are supported in their very own working methods in all possible ways and are furthered in their free action.
The tasks consist of two core areas:
A - Classical basic doctrine
The classical basic doctrine puts the main emphasis on drawing. The aim of the classical basic doctrine is to achieve confidence and knowledge in order to be able to use line, colours, and forms freely and playfully.
However, it is of prime importance to deepen obtained individual qualities and areas of interest even if it means to completely abandon the classical basic doctrine.
That is why the individual work phases are closely observed and analysed. With the help of the Study Book, the students will eventually learn to become their own observers.
B Individual areas of interest
The theme development apart from the classical basic doctrine can therefore be established as a priority straight from the beginning. The classical basic doctrine is no necessity. The work process will show if selected basics have to be reviewed.
Aim of the studies:
The special work cycles of individual students become the foundation for independently developed themes and concepts.
The students can work in all fields of the fine arts.
