Workshops
The KUNSTGUT – school of contemporary fine arts is a combination of teaching and forum.The training combines contemporary thinking and practice with the practical discussion of art and cultural history. There are workshops and courses that are open to guests.
All courses are led by internationally active artists. The number of participants is limited.

In addition to a basic theoretical and historical overview of painting materials, each student will paint a painting from a common template. This workshop is focussing the question, whether historical techniques are still appropriate in our days.
Each day begins with a discussion.

Henry Stöcker
sculptures made of gypsum and steel
Three days weekend workshop (Fr – Mo) in the atelier Stöcker,
dates: 24. - 27. June
Basic knowledge of sculptural construction is conveyed. A sculpture made from steel, gypsum and other materials can be made in this workshop. The workshop will take place at the atelier of Henry Stöcker in the Uckermark.Simple accommodation is provided and included in the price. The studio is easily accessible by local train.

This workshop is especially suitable for beginners. It gives an insight into the techniques of stone sculptor.Sculptures will be carved out from Elbsanstein.

nude modelling with clay
In addition to nude drawing nude modelling is a very important part of the education. It is an excellent training in spatial vision. Participants learn valuable skills of the sculptural work. This spatial understanding of the form also extends the capabilities in the two-dimensional work.
