Additional training- Free Studies- Preparation of applications for art schools
Objectives
The training at KUNSTGUT is aimed at an essential quality improvement of the artistic work. It is a training for structuring artistic work processes and will close possible gaps within an insufficient basic training. Beginners can also work at KUNSTGUT if exceptionally motivated.
Training period - Exams
Training can be completed with a Study Book and a report, or without
any written obligations.
The length of training stretches from 6 months to 3 years. Group exhibitions
of KUNSTGUT students take place at irregular intervals. If exceptional work
is created, a single exhibition at KUNSTGUT will be agreed.
The Study Book accompanies the training and is a lasting and useful document.
Exams and evaluations are appropriate where generally binding criteria exist.
A hypothetical exceptional exam result in the field of fine arts does hardly
reveal anything about whether the work will be accepted by the general public
and therefore be an economic success. Further, the “generally accepted
criteria” in this field differ significantly from place to place. On
the other hand, the training is already planned individually at the basis.
It would even be harmful if the individually designed trainig structure (
with the help of the Study Book) had to be adapted to general criteria.
At the end of the training, KUNSTGUT students will receive a conclusive summary of their study performance in the form of a report. This report, specifically tailored to the individual work, can be used as a reference.

In case you are interested in knowing more about backgrounds, e.g. why a
deep-reaching examination of historic art absolutely makes sense, you should
go to the page Pedestal of Masters. The page Work Evolution documents Frank
Pieperhoff´s
development which forms the basis of the studies.
